A lot came together for me in this flower. Tall scape with great branching and bud count. Fabulous clear color.
A bold deep amethyst with a mauve blue eye and large double edge of mauve blue and white to cream. The color is very good about developing and holding in very hot weather. We rarely have days under 90 degrees in the summer. Great arching foliage that never interferes with the flowers. The form is impeccable with wonderful ruffling and wide petals and sepals.
DANNY STEVE MITCHELL is a fitting flower to name for my brother was passed away last year at an all too young age. Moderately easy as pod parent. Pollen easy.

One of biggest flowers I've introduced. At times
the individual petals can reach 4" in diameter.
Literally a continuous bloomer here. One of the first to bloom in the garden one of the last ones still blooming in late August. A very clean near white with an occasional pink blush on cool mornings. By noon it is very white here with an extravagant huge edge of metallic yellow gold.
There is a lot of diamond dusting on the petals and liquid gold in the edge. Wonderful scapes with good branching and bud count. Strong grower. Very pod fertile and fantastic parent.
With Ginny in the background it gives great blue eyes and edges when crossed with blues. Its seedlings tend to be great early openers.

A deep rich red edge and eye with an ivory base
color. Very showy with lots of scapes and flowers.
The edge is wide and consistent. A very good parent for eyes and edges in bold colors. An easy parent both ways.

BE MY GIRL is my pinkest picoteed daylily to date.
It has a deep pink eye with edge offset by a near white
base color. The eye and edge are slightly lighter and
more to the pink side of color than the photo shows.
Very good form with nice precise ruffling. Easy parent both ways.

OPPOSING FORCES is a near white with a deep
purple black eye and edge.
OPPOSING FORCES is an improvement on my DARK REFLECTION. It is larger with a whiter base. One of the goals of my hybridizing efforts is to create pictoeed daylilies with whiter cleaner base color.
It has been a very good parent for whiter based
pictoees in various colors. Fertile both ways being a very easy pod parent.
